Using a Purchase Order with Simply Novel

Thank you for your interest in our products and services.  We are happy to accept approved purchase orders from your school or district.  If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to email us at customerservice@simplynovel.com.

Here are the instructions for our Purchase Order (PO) process:

  1. In order for us to process your order, you’ll need to have a signed and approved Purchase Order from your school or district. Purchase Orders must be signed by your school administrator or approved purchaser. You may place your order on our site, but we will not be able to fully process your order until we have received your approved Purchase Order. All orders are subject to verification and credit approval.
  2. Your school may also require a W-9 form from Simply Novel. You can download a copy of our W9 here.
  3. Before creating a purchase order, please be sure you are familiar with our Copyright Policy.  By purchasing from Simply Novel, you agree to the terms of this agreement, and further agree that if you are purchasing by proxy (for a teacher or group of teachers), that they have been apprised  of our copyright terms, and that they are in agreement.
  4. Before creating a purchase order, please be sure you are also familiar with our Refund Policy, as we do not offer refunds or returns or exchanges on downloadable products.

 

Using the Purchase Order Option to Place an Order on Our Site

Once you have added the resource(s) you wish to purchase to your cart, click the “Check Out” button to proceed to the checkout page. Verify (or enter if you have not yet created an account) your email address and enter/verify the billing information.* Under Payment, choose the radio button next to “Purchase Order,” then click the “Complete Order” button.  You will then see a confirmation page, detailing the next steps for completing a Purchase Order payment.

*Please note: If your billing and shipping addresses are different, be sure to indicate this on your official Purchase Order before sending to us. Additionally, if you are NOT the classroom teacher (are purchasing by proxy), please provide the email address of the teacher who will be using the materials in his/her classroom.  If it is a purchase for multiple teachers, please provide all applicable email addresses, indicating which items each teacher has specifically ordered.  Please see our COPYRIGHT terms for clarification.

Once you have completed your order, and see a confirmation page, the next step is to email your approved Purchase Order to customerservice@simplynovel.com (fastest processing time) or mail to Simply Novel, 10523 Huxley Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. (POs sent by mail may take up to two weeks to process.)

Once we have received and processed your purchase order, you will receive a notification that your items have shipped, or in the case of downloadable items, that your items are available for download (which can take as much as 7-10 business days from receipt of Purchase Order). 

An invoice will then be sent to the school/district and the listed billing contact. Payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date. If you’re placing a PO outside of the United States, please be aware that we are unable to generate invoices in other currencies. Therefore, your invoice will be in USD.
